Dr. Josey

Lead DVM

Dr. Josey Bush grew up in Koshkonong, Missouri raising sheep and goats on a family farm. She pursued a bachelors degree in Animal Science with a minor in Biology at the University of Missouri where she later attended veterinary school. Dr. Bush graduated from veterinary school in 2023 and began working as a mixed animal general practitioner in Rolla, Missouri. She then joined the R Veterinary team in 2024 and began working at both the Columbia and Ashland locations.

I'm currently finishing my final year in my Vet Tech program to become a licensed Veterinary Technician. I've always loved any and all things involving animals and working at R Vet has only furthered my passion. I'm very excited and thankful to be a part of such a wonderful team and can't wait to see all the opportunities that arise. It's such a joy to be around other people that also have a love for animals just like myself.

I have been with R Veterinary since the end of 2023. I have always had a passion for animals which has only grown as I have been part of this community! I am in school to become a Veterinary Technician with hopes to become a RVT. I am immensely grateful for the people I get to work with and the ways that we are able to help our community!

Kennel Assistant

My name is Leah Fadler and I was hired as a kennel technician/veterinary assistant. I am still in high school and I want to attend college to become a veterinarian. I have done taekwondo for 8 years and have achieved getting my third degree black belt. I love hunting and spending time outdoors. I am an ffa officer and I compete on the veterinary science contest team. I have a passion for animals and I want to do my best to help them in the future.

Practice Manager

Joe has a college degree in Veterinary Assisting and is currently enrolled in and completing a Registered Veterinary Technician program. He is the Practice Manager over the Ashland and Columbia locations and continues his role as a Veterinary Assistant at both locations. In his spare time, he is a service dog trainer with two organizations that provide service dogs to Veterans and First Responders. He has a dog named Cookie and a cat named Anubis… who are his life.

Sarah

CSR

Sarah, our receptionist, is from Columbia. She loves cats and fosters kittens for the Central Missouri Humane Society. She also loves dogs, small dogs in particular, her favorites are Yorkies and Chihuahuas! She enjoys working as a veterinary receptionist because she gets an opportunity to help the people and their pets!
